Doncaster Rovers Football Club unveiled their new main club sponsor at the last game of the season against Northampton Town. John Ryan introduced Colin Wright to the fans before the game.

As a major part of the continual commitment for progression for the club, both on the pitch, and behind the scenes, the Club has carefully selected and successfully sought out a new main club sponsor. The agreement entails a major mutual partnership between both parties, going forward and ties in shirt sponsorship rights, along with other affiliations involving the club including events/publication for the period of the deal.

After months of behind the scenes negotiations, Doncaster property developers, Wright Investments have been unveiled by Chairman John Ryan to the fans, as the new club sponsors. Wright Investments will sponsor the club for a three year period, the best deal Rovers has ever secured for the prestigious main club sponsor accolade.

In preparation for the first season of the three year partnership, the new
2007- 08 kits will be unveiled to the fans in July, which will include the Wright Investments logo on the front of the shirts.

Doncaster Rovers chairman John Ryan said this is a major deal for the club and shows that we are looking to fulfil our dream of Championship football with the backing of a major local sponsor. This will allow us to progress in partnership with Wright Investments as both sides can see the value of the alliance. This is the best deal we have ever had for a main sponsor and it shows just how far we have come since the low days in the Conference.
